Koch whore caught in telephone sting by blogger (video)

Union-busting Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker was caught in a telephone sting. A blogger from the BuffaloBeast posed as David Koch (notorious right-philanthropist, major donor to Walker’s campaign), and owner of 18 factories in Wisconsin and talked with Walker on the phone about his union-busting plans.

In part 2, Walker brags about “doing something big” as a new governor and brags about how popular his union-busting activities are with Wisconsinites and other governors, who are contacting him. He and the fake Koch also discuss placing thugs among the friendly protesters, and he agrees with the fake Koch when he disses the “liberal bastards” on MSNBC.

“This is our time to change the course of history,” Walker tells the fake Koch, as he compares his struggle with the unions to President Ronald Reagan’s “Mr. Gorbachov, tear down this wall” challenge to the communists.

“It’s all about getting our freedom back,” Walker says. [Huh?] “… The bottom line is we’re going to get to the world movement here.”

Ed Schultz– one of those “liberal bastards” on MSNBC– is going to be covering this story on his show on Wednesday night on MSNBC.

    The elected governor of Wisconsin is a “Koch whore?”  What will the UA Institute of Civility say?

    Pretty harsh language there.  Could it be that Governor Walker has you worried?

      I doubt anyone here in Arizona needs to worry about the fate of this loose lip sinks ships Wisconsin Governor, tonight its reported a former Wisconsin Attorney general is submitting tomorrow paper work for a investigation of him for ethics violations, campaign election law violations, labor law violations etc, etc, seems to me when one sticks their own foot in their own mouth they have no one to blame but themselves! :-) One can see where a possible federal justice department investigation is in the air, when one sells their elected office for a fee or exchange of financial gain, one can be charged with “High crimes and misdemeanors while in office”, this old Wisconsin goose might be cooked real well done! :-) Of course they only need 20,000 signatures for a recall election, with 70,000 angry citizens on his door step cannot imagine they will have much trouble filling that petition! I am amused, the tea party has finally been exposed as nothing but a billionaire Kock brothers invention, bought, paid and financed for to the penny! :-)

      “Koch Whore Scott Walker…” is the title given the YouTube piece by the creator. I think it is rather clever– kinda like Obamacare or the pictures of Obama in a turban.
       
      Also, rather apt– since it is a play on “coke whore”– someone who will do anything for coke cocaine. Walker will do anything for Koch’s money. Listen to the end of part 2 where they talk about the new world order. As, Leftfield says, Walker got ACORN’ed.
       
      With the Koch Industries horrible environmental record, I think we are also seeing the effects of Koch donations in the US House of Representatives in the Republican attacks on the EPA.

    The most extraordinary story in the news these days is the all-out assault that the Left is mounting against Charles and David Koch and their company, Koch Enterprises. A day doesn’t go buy–hardly an hour goes by–without some new attack being launched against these two lonely libertarians.
    Why? Simply because they are rich–their company is one of the best-run and most successful in the world–and conservative. The Left is trying to drive them out of politics and, more important, to deter any other people of means from daring to support conservative politicians or causes.
    Understand, the Left has nothing against rich people participating in politics. Most rich people who are politically active are liberals, and the Democratic Party gets much more of its support from the wealthy than the GOP. George Soros is only the most famous of a battalion of sugar daddies who fund every left-wing cause. But the Left wants a monopoly. They want wealthy people to be barred from political participation unless they toe the liberal line. Hence their increasingly vicious attacks on the Koch brothers; they are trying to make an example of them.

    I can’t help but notice—calling Governor Walker a “whore” is pretty clumsy word selection.  Can’t you sophisticated, educated liberals do any better?

      No more than the right has anything against Latinos, blacks and unions participating in politics.  The budget that Governor Walker is most hoping to reduce by union-busting (I hope no children are around to hear that filthy language) is the opposition party’s budget.  Pot-kettle-black, Don.

      Where did you get this idea? Give me a break. Check out The Nation story today about the Chamber of Commerce “darkening the skies” over the US. Like “Koch whore,” “darkening the skies” is a double entendre. The Chamber is “darkening the skies” with the millions of dollars they are throwing out to influence the political agenda and by opposing the EPA and any environmental legislation (thus contributing to pollution). The chamber gave $33 million in 2010 and brags on their website they will be giving millions more in 2012 to buy that election. Although they try to act as if they are representing small and large businesses alike; most of that $33 million came from 16 companies.

      Regarding how well-run Koch Industries is– check out their environmental record. Given Koch’s and the Chamber’s anti-environmental stance, it’s no wonder that the Republican-controlled US House is aggressively attacking and trying to weaken or eliminate the EPA. They have to keep their donors happy. (Who’s the Koch whore now? They could have a convention!)

      Right-wingers like to bring up union donations and Soros and ignore Americans for Prosperity and all of the secretly funded right wing groups that together put BILLIONS into the 2010 elections on behalf of Republican candidates. The amount of money these rich corporatists will put into the 2012 election will be even more obscene.

        Yes, because when the Democratic Party wants more money, it simply passes laws that benefit unions…who then kickback to the Democratic Party.  The Porkulus stimulus program was a big payoff to unions, who then kicked back a cut of our grandchildren’s money.

    The most revealing aspect of the prank call is Walker gladly opened the lines of communication with a supposed Koch brother. This speaks volumes about how well connected the Koch brothers are. (Try to call Walker as a concerned citizen) It also shows what money can buy. And most telling is the laughs they shared when Koch suggested a baseball bat and Walker noted the one in his office. Is that not how thugs do business, with bats. And for Walker to even allow the suggestion then laugh tells us how he views the opposition.  This man is dangerous, narrow minded and paid for by the Koch brothers and other special interest groups who care nothing about the union workers of Wisconsin, who by the way are living  a secure middle class life, the life we all dream about. Is this not the “American Dream” we were told about and challenged to work for? Indeed it is. And Mr. Don, there’s a difference between financial participation in politics and buying and owning an elected official. Walker is an example of special interest ownership coupled with blind self righteousness.
