    Well this story reminds me of the old choice of lesser of two evils, from 2000-2008 the GOP promised tax breaks to the richest 2% would trickle down with jobs, prosperity, seems to me it was a diet of manure, fed to us 98% in america and peddled by their right wing snake oil peddlers, being urinated on is not pleasant thought but if I have to choose between eating a steady diet of right wing manure, guess I will opt to be urinated on!:-)

    You want to know where jobs are? They are in Phoenix, not idiotic Tucson. Nobody is going to open a serious business here because its next to impossible to make profit, plus there is only 1 interstate and the city system was designed by a blind person.
     
    Tucson is a giant welfare hole that will eventually be mexico, since its population is too lazy to fix anything.

      If there were fewer city/county/state/corporate layoffs, there would be fewer people on unemployment, fewer people who have exhauseted their unemployment, and more people with good-paying jobs. Employed people buy stuff; unemployed people buy food. The more local businesses push politicians for reduced or eliminated fees, the more city departments “tighten their belts” (AKA cut services and jobs). This adds to the local poverty rate. The nationwide austerity push– balancing the budgets on the backs of the workers and the poor– is killing jobs and the economy. Local businesses won’t thrive as long as local people don’t have spending money in their pockets.
