Bark in the Park – Sun. May 15
Get ready to kick back with your four-legged friend while enjoying a great game of Tucson Padres baseball during Bark in the Park. Proceeds from all $1 dog admissions and $1 hot dogs benefit the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. The Humane Society of Southern Arizona will be in attendance with adoptable dogs and pet-related merchandise! So bring the whole family for a fun-filled evening in support of a doggone good cause!
What: Bark in the Park
When: Sun., May 15, Gates open at 5 pm, game starts at 6 pm CORRECTED
Where: Kino Stadium, 2500 E. Ajo Way
Why: Benefits local animal shelters, including the HSSAZ

La Cocina at 201 N. Court Ave. will donate 10% of sales to the HSSAZ. Adoptable dogs available. Listen to live entertainment. Pets welcome! Flyer necessary. (Blogger’s note: Coincidentally, I just ate at La Cocina today for the first time. What a pleasant place and the food was creative, delicious, and fresh.)

Eclectic Pizza (soon to be Renee’s Organic Oven) will donate 10% sales to benefit Casa de los Gatos when you present this flyer
at 7065 E. Tanque Verde Road (at Sabino Canyon). Enjoy organic and gluten-free pizzas, salad, beer and wine. Eclectic Pizza was voted “Best Pizza Place” in 2011 by Tucson Lifestyle magazine.
Casa de los Gatos has about 350 cats, including more than 50 special needs cats (Feline leukemia, FIV+, diabetic, blind or missing an eye, paralyzed back legs, etc.) and monthly expenses are approximately $17,000. They use about 1,400 pounds of cat litter every month.
