In an attempt to rescue more animals, the Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) will offer huge reductions in its pet adoption fees between May 27 and June 17.

During this special campaign, all cats and dogs can be adopted for a nominal fee of $10, which is significantly less than the normal fee.

Last year the program known as $10 for 10,000 resulted in the adoption of 10,161 animals, and this year so far 8,200 animals have been saved through adoptions.

The goal is to once again save 10,000 animals.

This offer applies to regular adoption animals and special needs animals. Special needs animals may require additional care.

With 4th of July and monsoon season right around the corner, the Pima Animal Care Center will continue this offer until our annual adoption event — Monsoon Muttness, which takes place on June 17- from 5- to 10 pm. There will be additional discounts that evening as well.

The Pima Animal Care Center is located at 4000 N. Silverbell Road. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday noon until 7 pm and Saturdays and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm; closed holidays.
