Photo is courtesy of Casa de los Gatos – Speedway is a pretty and sweet tabby cat. She was once a very shy girl but has become very friendly and relaxed. She had lived in fear of being terrorized by big dogs in her former home, and had stayed under a bed for years when her owners decided she would be better off somewhere else. She is about 10 years old. Speedway likes petting but not being picked up or having her lower back/tail touched. She does love to sit on laps and would be best as an only pet, absolutely no dogs!

Casa de Los Gatos is a wonderful organization of dedicated people doing very difficult but badly needed work in the community.  They, and the cats they try so hard to help, are deserving of the community’s support.

Thank you for your comments. I couldn’t agree with you more. $17,000 a month in expenses is a huge undertaking.
