Rescue Baby Doll dog today

Save me! Will be euthanized July 28

UPDATE: Baby Doll has been saved. According to the PACC Pets Facebook page, a person or an adoption group saved her along with another half dozen plus dogs that were slated to die tonight. What a gut-wrenching day! I don’t know how PACC personnel, PACC volunteers, and the front line adoption groups do this work day in and day out but I truly applaud you.

This blog post received more than 1,000 page views. It seems like people do care. In order to save these dogs, front line adoption groups working with PACC need foster homes. I will be listing the front line adoption groups soon. There seems to be so much need in our So. Ariz. community to help unwanted dogs and cats.

I’m trying to find out who rescued Baby Doll so I can go deliver them some dog food!

——————–

Pima Animal Care Center is full.

Baby Doll will be euthanized TODAY July 28 at 7 p.m. if she has not been rescued. The following information is from the wonderful, caring and dedicated volunteers who work at the Pima Animal Care facility on Silverbell Road – they have asked that this message be sent as widely as possible.

Baby Doll has been a wonderful dog during her stay. She loves her time with the volunteers and has a great time playing. She loves her walks with the dog walkers. She is a very sweet dog and will stand still forever while you brush her. Baby Doll is a 7 year old girl who is having stress issues with being in the shelter. She weighs only 39 pounds while she should weigh closer to 60 pounds.
She does not like being in the kennels at PACC, she needs a secure yard.

Baby Doll is showing some signs of aging that can usually be changed with the right food and environment. She is beginning to show early signs of kennel cough and will need a veterinarian visit and treatment.

If you are interested in doing a Special Needs Adoption (or know someone who can):

****Go to the rear of PACC (south side) and enter through the intake door.****

Ask for JUSTIN (Animal Advocate at PACC) or the Rescue Tech and let them know you want to do a Special Needs Adoption.

Give them the number of the animal you are interested in – Baby Doll’s record number is A331383.

PACC is located at 4000 N. Silverbell Road. This is on the east side of Silverbell, north of Grant Road and south of Ruthrauff Road

PLEASE HELP SAVE A LIFE TODAY!

P.S. If you adopt Baby Doll and can show Tucson Tails proof or Justin can verify it, I will buy you a bag of dog food. Thank you.

Thank you Jason! I am the proud mother of 2 lovely PACC rescued dogs who were also on their last hours, and they are absolutely wonderful dogs! It breaks my heart to think of all the good dogs that don’t get rescued and its good news whenever one, or several do :)
Karyn please do post the rescue groups that saved all the dogs I’d like to make a donation.
