On the first and third Wednesdays of every month (and fifth Wednesday), Tucson Tails blog will host some local adoptable pets in need of forever homes. To be considered for inclusion, send info by Tuesday at 3 p.m. The offer applies to rescue groups in So. Arizona. Please send to email@example.com
Charlie is a full bred lemon color 4 year old beagle. He’s very smart, curious and loves attention. He needs a friend(s) like you who will love him and give him the training he needs to become a good canine citizen.
TJ is a pure bred “blue” 3 year old male beagle. He has a wonderful disposition and eyes that can mesmerize. He will be your loving companion.
For more information please contact Southern Arizona Beagle Rescue – 520-393-8479.
Radar is all ears
He is a handsome 70-pound 2-year-old male Boxer mix, brindle and white, who is house-and crate-trained, loves car rides, to play and to go for long walks. Radar is gentle and tolerant of kids and very sweet with people. Some light obedience training is recommended. Radar formerly lived in a home but was returned to no fault of his own. Radar is attentive and will be your best friend if you let him.
CASA DE LOS GATOS (has dogs too)
Ernie is a Labrador/hound mix. This sweet old fellow has a heart as big as he is! Ernie also displays good humor and is full of life despite having some special needs. Ernie has arthritis which may make his joints ache, and he can no longer see the world through his blind eyes. He makes every day a joy by being easy to please. Ernie enjoys his naps, a couple of pats on the head and a treat now and again. Ernie is just looking for someone to take it easy with. He also has a soft spot for Millie; see below.
Like Bogey & Bacall
Millie wants to be won over; you can see it in her eyes. This shy girl is apprehensive at first but once she’s comfortable she won’t leave your side. Millie has a lot of energy and loves to run in the yard. This Shepherd mix takes great pleasure in rolling over for a belly rub. Millie is a gentle soul, in search of another gentle soul. All she needs is a trusting friend to spend her days with. Millie and Ernie are a well bonded pair of dogs. Do you have room in your heart and home?
