ARIZONA GREYHOUND RESCUE – Tucson, Green Valley, Casa Grande
Clementine and Ozzy were relinquished because their owner became seriously ill and could no longer care for them. These dogs need a permanent home together. They will not do well living apart.
10-year-old Clementine prefers to spend her time snoozing on her bed. She is not interested in playing with toys. She gets along well with her foster sisters but has not been cat or small dog tested. Unexpected loud or unusual noises do not disturb her. She rides well in the car, barks very little, and is house trained using a doggy door. Clementine is not crated but the foster parents use a doggy gate to corral her when they are absent from the home. She enjoys her walks, is good on the leash, and tolerates grooming. Clementine knows her name, comes when called, and knows basic commands.
9-year-old Ozzie is a love bug; always has his head in someone’s lap and likes to be petted. Ozzie has not been tested for cats or small dogs. He loves people. Although he cries when left alone, he is not destructive. Ozzie needs a little hoist to get in the back of a car. He barks very little and is house trained using a doggy door. He allows gentle grooming and has soft bunny type fur.
Hopefully, there is a kind greyhound lover out there who can give these two senior greyhounds a home together.
