Pit n’ Proud and In the Arms of the Angels All Breed Dog Rescue have teamed up to host their 1st annual Pitbulooza! Responsible Dog Ownership Celebration in honor of National Pit Bull Awareness Day, Sunday, Oct. 23 at Brandi Fenton Park.
This celebration of all things pit — aims to bring positive awareness to an often misunderstood and maligned breed. Pitbulooza! visitors will enjoy training demonstrations, food vendors, pet merchandise, a costume contests, trick competitions, portraits, and informational booths on behavioral, nutritional, and veterinary care.
Don’t have a pit bull?
All dogs are welcome and loads of adorable adoptable dogs will be waiting to meet you from local rescue groups. Please join the fun as Tucson recognizes the brighter side of pit bulls, honors their legacy as exemplary companions, and celebrates the special people who love them.
