Adopt me cat for $11

The Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA) has approximately 400 animals crowding its shelter. To help them find homes, the HSSA adoption center will open from noon to 5 pm on Veterans Day. During the HSSA’s Lucky 11 adoption special on 11/11/11, adopters can take home a new best friend with an $11 adoption fee for:

• All cats 5 months and older
• All mixed-breed dogs 5 months and older and 25 pounds and over

Plus, to thank active and retired military servicemen and women, the HSSA will offer waived adoption fees on all pets for military families on Veterans Day at the main shelter. Please visit the HSSA this Friday and be a hero to a homeless pet in need!

Adoption fees do not include $15.50 for a Pima County dog license.

Please note: The receiving center at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona will remain closed on Veterans Day.
