Effective immediately Pawsitively Cats, a 501 (C) 3 no-kill cat rescue organization, will assume responsibility for the animals at the Casa de los Gatos no-kill cat shelter. Pawsitively Cats is taking on this responsibility in agreement with the board of Casa de los Gatos, according to board President Beth Montes.
Pawsitively Cats board President Celia Keener says, “Taking on the care of the cats and dogs from Casa de los Gatos is an exciting step forward for Pawsitively Cats. We hope that the community will enthusiastically support us in this huge undertaking.”
Susan Miller, Board Secretary/Treasurer of Pawsitively Cats adds, “We are committed to providing the best care possible for Casa de los Gatos animals. To do this we will continue to need monetary donations to pay rent, utility bills, and purchase food and litter for the animals. The community can also help by donating dry food, canned food and litter. We hope that the donors who have supported Casa de los Gatos will support Pawsitively Cats as well.”
Pawsitively Cats board members will be responsible for decision-making for the organization while Sheryl Campbell will be Flanwill Blvd shelter manager, and James Blakely will be the Ft. Lowell shelter manager.
