Adopt a dog or cat! Rescue a pet; never buy one from a pet store. Can you help these very special dogs and one cat find their forever homes?
Bandit is a wonderful, elegant Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix. He was literally born in the hands of a volunteer as she was helping his mother to birth six puppies. He is a 3 yr old neutered male, medium energy, and loves to run with you or in the dog park. He’s very talkative and will tell you all about his day. He’s good with people but tends to be shy around other dogs until he gets to know them.
Meet Bandit at Bookmans on Sunday, January 8 from noon to 2 p.m. Bookmans NW is located at Ina & Thornydale. During the month of January, Beading Divas to the Rescue is selling bracelets to benefit the New Hope Cattle Dogs Rescue. Not only can you meet Bandit buy you can buy a bracelet. Linus – #709690 – 7 Years Old – Great Dane/Boxer Mix – Male
Lanky and lovable, Linus would be delighted to show you why they call them “Great” Danes and not just “Okay” Danes. Found strutting his stuff near a busy intersection, Linus was saved from oncoming traffic by a kind animal lover in the nick of time. Surprisingly, no one came to claim him and now he’s looking for a second chance at love. Gentle, affectionate and always happy to accept a treat, Linus is a major heart throb among all of the staff and volunteers at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. Once you meet him, you simply can’t help but fall in love. If you could give him the proper retirement he deserves, please get to know Linus today.
Lacie – #707999 – 4 Years Old – Domestic Medium Hair – Female
Poor Lacie was abandoned one cold October night with her newborn kittens at the doorstep of the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. Now that her kittens have all found homes, it’s mom’s turn! This delightful tabby loves showing off her ninja-fast reflexes while playing with toys. A nurturing sweetheart, Lacie can make any place feel like home. Won’t you help make 2012 Lacie’s best year yet?
