Tucson: Lost Therapy Dog – NWby Karyn Zoldan on Jul. 17, 2012, under Animal News, Dogs, Canines, Fun with Fido, Barking Encouraged
Gabriel’s Angels asked me to post this:
Update: “Still looking for my love and have complete faith that he is still out there somewhere, but have to go into work today so if anybody could help with the search it would be much appreciated. We are now thinking he may be hiding out in a wash somewhere, so if anybody has time to look along the Rillito, between 1st/mountain/Campbell area, that would be really helpful. OR if you know of any other washes between Oracle/Magee area and here that you are close to… every bit helps! Thank you again for all the support. I have a good feeling about today so let’s bring this pup home.
One of our newest therapy dogs, Kojack, was lost in Catalina State Park on Saturday July 14 when he was frightened by the storm. Kojack was last seen in the Oracle Road/El Conquistador area a few days ago. Their thinking is that he is continuing to run south on Oracle but who knows. He is a reddish brown retriever mix, medium sized, 35 pounds. He is very scared and keeps running.
We would appreciate it if you could ask Tucson Tails subscribers in NW Tucson and Oro Valley to please be on the lookout for this sweet boy and help return him to his adopter Lori Ginsburg, firstname.lastname@example.org, 520-205-1481.
If anyone can help Lori Ginsberg, please call her. Please share this blog post far and wide. Thank you
From personal experience, I have found that chasing a dog makes them run faster. If Kojack has been on the run since Saturday, he will be tired and hungry. If there are any sightings for him, perhaps a humane trap can be set with food and another dog nearby.
We need a miracle about now. Miracles do happen more frequently than we think so let’s not give up. Keep Kojack and the Ginsberg family in your hearts…
