Tucson Tails loves it when local businesses step up to help gets dogs adopted. Thank you!
Royal Buick hosts “Dog Days of Summer” with its 3rd annual Dog Adoption Event on August 18. On that day from 10 am to 2 pm, Royal Buick GMC Cadillac sponsors free pet adoptions at their location in the Tucson Auto Mall.
The Humane Society of Southern Arizona and Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) will bring in available dogs for adoption, and Royal Automotive Group will sponsors all adoption fees. At last year’s event 37 dogs found new homes. Let’s think bigger this year.
In addition to pet adoptions, activities include free dog portraits, free BBQ hot dogs, and various booths featuring local pet boutiques and pet stores in the main lobby.
For more information, visit Royal’s website .
Tucson Tails apologizes for not being able to post all the pet events happening in our community. Occasionally, I receive last minute notices and it’s simply too last minute or life/work gets in the way. However, please continue to send your pet events to email@example.com Photos smaller than 500 KB are also welcome. Photos (jpg or gif) must be taken by the sender/organization or the photo must be attributed. If I have to size the photos smaller, I simply don’t have time to do so. If you don’t have a photo, send your logo.
Last week Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) hosted an adoption event called “Be Their Hero” and 27 pets were adopted on Friday, 41 on Saturday, and 31 on Sunday with a grand total of 99 dogs and cats leaving PACC in one weekend.I would like to credit Michelle Lindorff for her fabulous work promoting PACC pets.
