A statewide ban on performing the procedure is needed as well as banning Greyhounds that have been so injected from competitive racing anywhere in the state. Horses that race are monitored to see what they may have in their system, as are Olympic athletes and also now many professional athletes must be tested. There is no reason(other than the associated costs) that blood analysis can’t be done on all track racing dogs. Let the Greyhound track pay for it and pass the costs on to those paying customers who are so eager to see animals treated in such a cruel manner. Let the track customers pay for their own sick idea of entertainment.
