It’s almost like human reproduction. If you hate abortion then you have to believe in birth control.
Don’t overbreed animals. There are a lot of answers out there that I dont know about. Stupid breeders, people who feed feral cats, …birth control pills for dogs??

Once everyone becomes experts on No-Kill, might you tell us how to convince someone who has
their heart set on one of the 800,000 or so Yorkies and Peke-A-Poos and
Chinese Cresteds and Puggles & whatever purebred puppies available
on the Net every day to instead adopt a giant black senior mixed-breed or a previously abused Pit or a
damaged German Shepherd/cross or a three-legged Boxer with a bite
history?

That 12.5K number is absolutely abhorrent and unacceptable. Those little guys would seemingly have a better chance of survival running lose in the desert than depending on PACC to help them in their need. It is very disturbing to read the numbers. I hope things can be changed for the better through increased public awareness.
