Drink Wine for Tucson Greyhounds – Apr. 7by Karyn Zoldan on Apr. 01, 2013, under Animal Events, Greyhounds
Greyt Vines Greyhound Fundraiser
My apologies to Marvin Gaye but this song has been in my head all day. Let’s all sing:
I heard it through the Greyt Vines
not much longer would you be mines. (sic)
Oh I heard it through the Greyt Vines,
Oh and I’m just about to lose my minds.
Honey, honey yeah.

Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption transitions former racing greyhounds into beloved pets. Most of their expenses come from veterinary services & medications and kennel housing. Recently, these medical expenses included fixing two broken dogs. This all volunteer-organization is always looking for more volunteers, especially foster homes and kennel turnout helpers (in Marana). Donations are tax-deductible. The Arizona Daily Star recently wrote an informative article; you can read it here.
