Tucson Tails: Female Husky Dog Needs a Good Homeby Karyn Zoldan on Jul. 11, 2013, under Adopt Me! Adopt Me! Adopt Me!, Dogs, Canines, Fun with Fido, Barking Encouraged
Update: Saturday/July 13 – A couple who read this blog post contacted Norman and took the Husky home. They have other Huskies and are familiar with the breed. Paws crossed they have a tall fence and this is her forever home!
A good Samaritan found a Husky but cannot keep her and is looking for a suitable home or rescue organization.
He did contact the Husky breed rescue but they are at capacity and unable to take her at this time.
The good Samaritan is Norman who not once but twice saw the dog without a name, loose in his SW neighborhood. The second time he reached out to help.
As he approached the dog, some neighbors appeared and said the dog keeps jumping over their 4-foot fence. Apparently, these neighbors acquired this dog and a male Husky when people they know left town and abandoned their dogs.
The dog has no tags and Norman does not know if she is spayed or not. She is good with his three whippets but he keeps her crated while at work. He cannot keep her very much longer. She appears to be in good health, around 2 to 3 years old. He wants to check (but rather doubts) that she has a microchip.
