Tucson: Jeters is depressed, yellow labrador retriever mixby Karyn Zoldan on Jul. 21, 2013, under Adopt Me! Adopt Me! Adopt Me!, Dogs, Canines, Fun with Fido, Barking Encouraged
Update – Just learned today (8/11) that Jeters was adopted! Here’s the heartwarming story:
Jeters went to a couple who were coping with their aging 14 year old Boxer who will be euthanized soon for health reasons. They wanted to bring Jeters in before their loss to help them transition. They wanted to help a dog who otherwise might not be adopted. Thank you!
Depression hurts or so says the commercial. What would cure Jeters of his depression is if he could leave PACC (Pima Animal Care Center) and find somebody to love and who loves him back.
Jeters has been at PACC since May 12. He is considered Special Needs because he is a senior at 7 years old and also needs a dental. Don’t let the dental stop you because Tucson Cold Wet Noses will pay for his dental, in-house blood panel, and his neuter.
According to the volunteers, he is a great dog but so very depressed. He doesn’t interact well in the shelter and just sits there. Jeters would do best with a female dog.
He is sad and lonesome. He needs an adopter who can give him some TLC and take him for walks.
Here’s Jeters’ page – the word (rescue) by his name does not mean he has been rescued. Jeters is available!
