Tucson Tails: SNIP Burger Benefits Cat Spay, Neuter, Pima Countyby Karyn Zoldan on Sep. 01, 2013, under Animal Events, Cats Meow, Feline Fun
When you dine at Lovin’ Spoonfuls Restaurant during the month of September and order a S.N.I.P burger — a portion of this burger will benefit feline low cost spay & neuter services in Pima County. S.N.I.P. stands for Spay Neuter Intervention Project and is a collaboration among Spay & Neuter Solutions, Tucson CARES, and No Kill Pima County. The first goal set by S.N.I.P is to spay/neuter 200 cats in September.
The special soy burger is topped with crispy battered onions and house made vegan BBQ sauce; it comes with coleslaw or carrot salad or potato salad. Yum!
The S.N.I.P. burger launch party is September 3 starting at 7 p.m. but if you cannot make it — please note the burger special rocks for the entire month. One dollar for every burger sold will be donated to S.N.I.P.
Lovin’ Spoonfuls is located at 2990 N. Campbell Avenue; open 7 days.
Please share this with animal lovers. Thanks to Peggy, owner of Lovin’ Spoonfuls for this generous offer.
So far this S.N.I.P. campaign has raised $2,500 from the Flea-less market & vegan bake sale on August 18, and $2,800 from private donations.
S.N.I.P. is pleased to present 50 vouchers to PACC to use for shelter diversion incentives, for people who are surrendering a cat or kittens but would be motivated to keep them knowing their pets could be spayed/neutered.
