Downtown Tucson Goes Wild – Oct. 3by Karyn Zoldan on Oct. 02, 2013, under Animal Events, Wildlife
Tucson Wildlife Center comes to Downtown Tucson for the first time for a happy hour of films and fun.
Where: Playground Restaurant & Lounge, 278 E. Congress Street
When: Thursday, October 3 – 5:30 to 7:30 pm
Why: Come and support Arizona wildlife rescue, rehab and release! Special performance by Amber Norgaard.
By the way, Playground has fabulous food (great bar food) and delicious drinks, some bottled and carbonated that they make themselves as well as shake and stir cocktails, and an extensive wine and beer list.
Tucson Wildlife Center offers a 24-hour emergency room, volunteer veterinarians on call, trained rehabilitation experts to care for injured and orphaned wild animals, release transportation to native habitat, and educational opportunities. Their sole support comes from people like you.
