(from the press release)
The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter invites the public to attend its largest fundraising event of the year, Cat’s Meow Goes International. This year’s event will be held on October 26, from 5:30 until 10 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Temple, 160 S. Scott Avenue.
Scheduled festivities include entertainment by Cirque Roots, silent and live auctions, cocktails, and international cuisine.
The Cat’s Meow Goes International is expected to draw between 150 and 200 guests from Tucson and the surrounding area. Not only is the event an enjoyable evening out, it’s a terrific place to network as the Tucson business community will have a strong presence at the event.
Tickets for the event are $45 each, $85 per couple. Seniors, students and military tickets prices are $40. Tables that seat 8 can be purchased for $345.
Proceeds received from Cat’s Meow Goes International are used directly to provide medical care, food, and other general necessities for more than 200 rescued cats living at the shelter. Your generosity in supporting these events shows these lovable creatures that although someone has tossed them out or dropped them off, there are still people who care and demonstrate it through their active participation or kindhearted donations.
