Monthly PACC Advisory Meeting – Nov. 21 and the public is invited.
It is important for the community to attend these meetings to show you care, to stay informed and to share your views. These meetings address the policies, procedures and programs that impact the outcome for animals that come to the shelter.
For instance at the Nov. 21 meeting, the new business agenda items are:
- euthanasia protocols
- keeping advisory committee apprised of PACC changes
- adoption program
- alarm for emergency situations (dog fights)
- conditions in U-Bay
- redemption program and fees
- floor plan changes
- ideas to reduce number of dogs coming to PACC (Pima Animal Care Center/county animal control)
Each meeting has a call to the audience near the beginning of the meeting and at the end of the meeting when anyone in the audience may have up to 3 minutes to share their views. Do not expect an immediate response to your statement or questions, especially if it was not about an item on the agenda. But the Committee does hear you. You can have an impact. And questions may receive a response subsequent to the meeting.
The meeting begins at 5:30 pm in the admin trailer behind the shelter at 4000 N. Silverbell Road. Please consider getting involved.

She is an amazing girl, very healthy, lots of energy, good on the leash, very loving, and many good years left in her. )
