Horse abuse: Lawsuit filed against AHA, HBO
Thursday, January 3rd, 2013Horse abuse: Lawsuit filed against AHA, HBO
This is interesting. A former employee of the American Humane Association filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the AHA and HBO. After she witnessed and spoke out about the horse abuse on the HBO series, “Luck,” she was fired.
Financed by the movie industry, the very industry it is supposed to police, the AHA puts the stamp of “no animals were harmed” for TV and movies.
Three horses died in the making of the show before the series was cancelled.
