Tails & Ales Dog Wash Fundraiser

Tucson dog event: Tails & Ales Dog Wash – Sunday, March 25

Benefits Humane Society of Southern Arizona and Tucson Roller Derby

What: The Tucson Roller Derby and the Humane Society of Southern Arizona have teamed up to bring you the 4th annual Tails & Ales Dog Wash.

Get your dog clean for only $10 while enjoying good eats and cold suds and helping both of these wonderful organizations. Roller Derby women rock!

Barrio Brewing Co. will donate a percentage of sales from the day, so come hungry! Bring your own towels and get $2 off your wash (smart idea).  A $40 donation gets you VIP treatment and a move to the front of the line.

You can pre-order your wash and your Tails & Ales pint glasses – $8 each or 2 for $12. Enjoy beer, lunch and live music provided by: The Gotes from 11 a.m. to noon; The Tryst from 12:15-1:15 p.m. and Shrimp Chaperone from 1:30-3:45 p.m. You can buy tickets online .

If you don’t want to pre-order anything — just show up — that’s most important. Dogs & people or people without dogs are most welcome.

Where: Barrio Brewery, 800 East 16th Street

When: March 25 — 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Why: Last year more than 220 dogs lathered up. The event raised over $3,000 for the HSSA and Tucson Roller Derby.
