HUMANE SOCIETY OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA
Magilla Gorilla • #695654 2 Years Old • Xoloitzcuintli • Male
Meet Magilla Gorilla. He’s a Xoloitzcuintli (pronounced show-low-eats-queen-tlee)! Being part Xolo makes Magilla pretty special. As one of the world’s rarest and oldest breeds, Xolos were once considered sacred by the Aztecs, Toltecs and Mayans. Being half Xolo makes Magilla the Hercules of the dog world! Found wandering the streets in May, Magilla could use an active, loving home to make him the happiest dog in the world. As a staff and volunteer favorite, Magilla has many fantastic qualities that would make him an ideal companion. Although he’s pretty much hairless, Magilla is still extra cuddly and would love to share one of his soft hugs with you today! If you’re looking for a unique dog to fill your life with loyalty and cheer for many years to come, please visit Magilla soon at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona!
Mercy • #695218 1 Year Old • Domestic Medium Hair • Female
Once you meet Mercy, you can’t help but love her! Spunky and playful, Mercy will lure you in with her curious stare and then invite you to bat around a toy mouse like a ping pong ball. Despite being abandoned to survive on the streets, Mercy still has her proud attitude fully intact. Now this classy kitty is searching for a lap to claim, where she can contently purr and chat with you about her day. If you could be the kind person that this deserving kitty has been dreaming of, please visit the Humane Society’s Park Place Mall adoption center soon and ask to meet marvelous Ms. Mercy.

THE ANIMAL LEAGUE OF GREEN VALLEY
Taffy – male cat
Taffy is a 2 year old orange tabby male who got along with everyone (even the dogs), and is generally gentle and quiet. Taffy has been known to get on furniture and give the old counter-jump a try, but that’s actually pretty standard behavior for a cat. He likes to curl up on the sofa and be next to his people. If you want a sweet cat, Taffy is it.
Rosie the greyhound
She is a petite 4 1/2 year old who weighs a mere 54 pounds — perfect for someone who wants a greyhound on the smaller side. Though small in stature, Rosie is big on heart and personality. She is almost all white with only a little fawn around her face. It would be best that Rosie go to a home without small animals or cats. Rosie has been in foster care for a few months. Isn’t it time for this retired racing greyhound to find a loving forever home?
Lyle – pit bull/lab mix
When Lyle was rescued he was covered in graffiti. Now he is cleaned up and is one handsome loving boy looking for the right home. Lyle would love a kid to romp with during the day and cuddle with at night. Lyle is good with other dogs but not cats. He is an estimated 3 years old and is house trained and kennel trained.
