PAWSitively Cats Mission Statement: To provide a No-Kill shelter and compassionate care for homeless cats in Tucson, to find loving permanent homes for these cats, to promote Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) for feral cats, and to educate the public regarding spay/neuter and responsible pet ownership.
Photo: This lovely and loving girl came to PAWSitively Cats when her former household married a human with severe pet allergies. Her name was originally Cat, but her foster family now calls her Catniss because she’s beautiful and brave like Katniss in the Hunger Games. She loves to have her head and chin scratched, and likes to sit in the window and watch the birdies. She enjoys playing with feather mousies, chasing ribbon toys, and appreciates the occasional can of Trader Joe’s Kitty Tuna. She doesn’t like to be held in arms, but will very happily drape herself on your lap and purr for petting & ear rubs. Ideally, Catniss would like to be the only pet in the house and is anxious to devote lots of love to her new forever family. Please call 289-2747 to meet this beautiful girl and help find her REAL forever home.
