THE ANIMAL LEAGUE OF GREEN VALLEY
Eve – 3-year-old, solid black domestic short hair female

Eve: Available in Green Valley
Eve and her brother, Adam, arrived at TALGV as kittens back in August 2008. It wasn’t long before they were both adopted. Eve went to live with a delightful older man. The two of them had a wonderfully warm relationship until he died, after which a very good friend of his took her in. Unfortunately there were already four cats in the house, and although she tried, Eve just never got along very well with them (she did hit it off with the dog, however!). So, she is back at TALGV again, with high hopes that she can find another quiet cat-loving person with whom she can spend the rest of her life as the only feline in the home. She is 3 years old now, and a real beauty – a sleek, solid black girl with riveting golden eyes – and a sweet, laid back personality that will win your heart.
Copper- 1 ½ year-old, Vizsla mix female

Copper: Vizsla of Green Valley
Copper’s mom died four weeks after she was born on April 12, 2010. Lucky for her and her siblings, they were bottle fed for two more weeks after that and got tons of loving care, so she thinks humans are just the best darned creatures in the world. Copper is a striking Vizsla mix (that’s the Hungarian national dog, one of the purest breeds in the world), but what you really need to know about her is that Vizslas are intelligent and athletic and excellent hunting dogs. The added bonus is that in addition to their hunting abilities, they adapt to life as a family pet because of even temperament. Copper has learned the basics of good dog behavior (walking nicely on a leash, sitting, and using the doggie door) so all those things, combined with her great looks and winning personality, will make her the perfect addition to a dog-savvy family.

HUMANE SOCIETY OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA
Ice – #703253 – 2 Years Old – Queensland Heeler Mix – Male

Ice: Take me home!
Ice is tough as nails, sweet as sugar and cute as can be. An incredible survivor, Ice was rescued from a busy Broadway intersection one harrowing July night after being hit by a car. Scooped up by a good Samaritan, Ice was discovered to have a severely dislocated hip, some minor scratches and bruises, but nothing life-threatening. After arriving at the HSSA and spending a month wearing a sling to correct his impaired leg, Ice healed beautifully and now looks forward to living a happy, healthy, normal life as a cherished pet. As the perfect companion, Ice has just the right amount of enthusiasm. Although he loves accompanying you on walks, Ice is perfectly happy to spend the afternoon napping. Ice is also great with other respectful dogs, very well-mannered alone and excellent about telling you when he needs to go outside. Once you gently introduce yourself to Ice as a friend, he will be your faithful sidekick forever. If you could grant Ice’s wish for a forever home, please ask to meet this very special dog. Watch Ice’s video.
