Free Lecture: Help Prevent Your Pets from Ever Developing Cancer
Thursday – April 7
6:30 p.m. – Holistic Animal Care Shoppe 6336 N. Oracle (SE corner of Oracle and Orange Grove)
Author and certified holistic pets/toxic-free lifestyle consultant, Nadine M. Rosin will help you stack the odds against your pets ever developing a degenerative disease.
One in four dogs will die of cancer according to the Morris Animal Foundation. That’s over 60 dogs per day in Arizona. But 8-year-old Buttons didn’t die when she was diagnosed – even after the vet gave her only six weeks to live without chemo, radiation, and amputation. That’s because Rosin didn’t fight Buttons’ cancer. Instead, she implemented a “clear/cleanse/build” protocol to help Buttons’ body heal. After four months, Buttons was cancer-free and thrived an additional 11 years to the age of 19.
This free, interactive lecture will include information from Rosin’s one-on-one holistic consultations followed by a Q&A period with the audience. Afterward, Rosin will be signing copies of her book, The Healing Art of Pet Parenthood available for purchase at both Holistic Animal Care Shoppe locations (part of the book’s proceeds the night of the lecture will go to the Humane Society of Southern AZ).

Dog Wash Fundraiser -Arizona Greyhound Rescue

Cost: bath – $10, nail trim – $10 or $15 for both. Such a deal! And the dogs love the pampering.
Many volunteers are needed for this event. Girl scouts, boy scouts, church groups, youth groups (must be 15 years old), vet techs (to trim nails), or anyone who wants to have a great time and burn lots of calories. It’s great exercise.
