Tucson: Some dogs in the 48 – 48 – 48 campaign at PACC
Thursday, April 26th, 2012Here are six of the 48 dogs looking for homes at PACC during the 48 campaign – April 28 & 29.
Linda (A363720) is an adorable 2 year old white, brindle, and brown pit mix. She and her friend Polaris used to play the days away and snuggle all night in their kennel, but Polaris got adopted and Linda got left behind. Linda is a volunteer favorite. Nobody knows why she’s been living at the shelter since 1/27/2012. If you’ve got a playful dog and/or are looking for a jogging partner, Linda is your girl! No cats in the home for this girl, please.
Flower (A368597) is a 2.5 year old tricolor pit mix. She has been at the shelter since 2/21. Despite being a “confiscation” dog, Flower is full of love for people and loves to give kisses. She is incredibly sweet with people, and has managed to get along with multiple kennel-mates while living at PACC.
Max (A243964) is a cream and white Samoyed mix. He’s been at the shelter since 3/12/2012. He’s been at the shelter for a month and a half, and would just love to get out! Max is considered “special needs” (SNA), because his previous owners left him alone in an apartment for 10 hours a day and he chewed on things. Can you blame him? Max is another volunteer favorite!
Becca (A371334) is a black pit mix. Although she doesn’t look like anything special, this girl is one of the happiest girls around. When she came in to PACC, she was terrified of her surroundings and it was impossible to get a picture of her, because she always wanted to be in your lap. Now that she’s adjusted, she is a friendly, affectionate girl who loves to play with other dogs. Her buddy Spongebob (also pictured) got adopted over the weekend, and Becca can’t help but wonder why she got left behind.
Braveheart (A372006) is a 2 year old lab mix, and he probably would tell a sad story if he could talk. Braveheart has some scars on his face, and when you go to leash him up, he cries and cries. But once he’s on the leash, he’s sweet as can be. The volunteers have been working hard with this guy, and he’s learning to love people more and more every day. Braveheart is a diamond in the rough. He’ll make a great pet for somebody.
Eclipse (A350097) is a 1 year old black lab/pit mix. Eclipse was returned to PACC on 2/10 because she climbs chain-link fences. Because of this, Eclipse is considered “special needs” (SNA). Eclipse is a sweet girl who knows tons of tricks and is just patiently waiting for a forever home.
