Arizona’s unique combination of geography and climate supports more than 400 species of birds. That’s almost half the total of all bird species that can be found in the United States and Canada!
Jennie MacFarland and Erin Olmstead of Tucson Audubon Society will share the when, where, and why of birding in the Santa Cruz Valley (and its economic impact) and how you can get involved.
This event is part of the free Heritage Speaker Series, on Tuesday, July 23 from noon – 1 p.m. at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library, 101 N. Stone Ave, downtown Tucson.
Arrive early and receive a free hummingbird feeder, while supplies last.
You can find out more about the Santa Cruz Valley Heritage Alliance at the website.
