Update on two lost dogs around Westin La Paloma golf course: Not good. If you don’t want to know what happened, stop reading now.
Posted 12/12 by a volunteer: The female pup was found around hole 4 on the westside of the course in a drop canal. She was cremated.
Posted more recently by a volunteer: THIS IS SO HARD but we found the little guy today–his remains anyway. We have buried him and given him the name of SPIRIT and the female named Sissy. Words cannot explain how much and how many people you both touched! We all love you and wish you rest and much love now. Psalm 145:-9-10,13,15-21 AMP
Though all creatures are subject to man’s cruelty, God loves all His creation and has made plans for all His children and the lesser creatures to enjoy His eternal Kingdom. With this warms my soul knowing you are safe now.
Thank you to all volunteers and to Tucson Cold Wet Noses who kept looking and looking and not giving up. That is what rescue is all about.
This is heart breaking. I have gone out looking for lost dogs before so I know about how gut wrenching the search for lost dogs can be. Tucson Cold Wet Noses has not given up. Dog rescue people have hope a mile long and I’ve always thankful for that.
Here’s the Craig’s List ad with the latest information.
The important thing here is to call with sightings and pinpoint where you are. By now these dogs must be tired. They may not be even running around. Maybe you should carry some smelly meat? I don’t know if it’s possible but in the past when I have gone looking for dogs, it’s helpful but not mandatory to have another quiet dog along. Not sure if that’s possible around golf course.
Please call Terri if you can go help look with or without a dog. CONTACT TERRI AT 520-235-6309 if seen or for questions.
