FRIENDS OF BUENOS AIRES NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE (FOBANWR) SPRING 2012 BROWN CANYON WEEKEND EDUCATION PROGRAMS

April 7 – 8:  Sky Islands Ethnobotany
Workshop Leaders: Vince and Claudia Pinto of Raven’s Way Wild Journeys

April 14-15: Some Archaeology of Southern Arizona and the Altar Valley
Workshop Leader: Allen Dart, RPA, Old Pueblo Archaeology Center

May 5: Spring Birds of Brown Canyon
Workshop Leader: Jeff Babson, Sky lsland Tours

May 12-13: Tracks and Scat of Brown Canyon  
Workshop Leader: Jessica Lamberton, Sky Island Alliance

Registration for these events is required. Overnight workshop cost is $105 for FOBANWR members and $125 for non-members. This includes lodging in Brown Canyon Education Center lodge and three gourmet catered meals (dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday). The lodge has 8 bedrooms (each with multiple twin beds) sharing 4 bathrooms on two floor levels. Participants must bring their own pillows, bed linens, and bathroom linens and toiletries. Overnight workshops run from Saturday 1:00 PM to about 2:00 PM on Sunday.
