It’s interesting how quickly things change. Early on it looked like Oregon was overrated and Cal was going to dominate. Now the Ducks are in the driver’s seat for the Rose Bowl and Cal is on the verge of total collapse.

Great analysis! I think this Washington game is critical for our success this season. If we can win 2/3 on the road against tough competition I like our chances to sweep our home-stretch.
Before the season that Cal game after that seemed like a sure-fire loss… but Cal doesn’t seem as good as advertised and with their history of meltdowns I wouldn’t be shocked if we saw a very defeated Cal team. Especially if they drop another in between.
And I’ve been salivating a bit at that Oregon game… it has November beat down of a highly ranked team all over it. I’m just hoping that this year the beat down comes from Arizona the Pac-10 contender and not Arizona the barely scrapping for a bowl game.
