Bob, you're right. The O-Line was superb. I think I even saw Grigsby, Keola, Criner and Tutogi lay a couple of Huskies out on key run and pass plays. There was one huge block in particular I believe Criner made on that 70 yard romp by Antolin. I had to do a double-take it was so conspicuous for its effectiveness. Helmets, visors and red cowboy hats off to these guys and their coaches.

Trick plays? Too bad Richard Morrison isn't able to go. As a slot receiver, big Rich taking a step behind the line of scrimmage, getting a zipping bullet from Scott and then hitting a streaking Matt for what could go all the way would be the essence of trickery. Who on the opposition would be quick to the take and know right away that Mr. Morrison was once a 4th string QB on this Cat team?

I think the coaches called their best game by far. I think people need to consider that when comparing Foles and Scott. The play-calling has been a lot less creative before this game. I agree that needs to stay.
We need to avoid a look-ahead again this week. Otherwise, I think we can contain UCLA and should win.

Very well said. It was great to be able to power it in on the ground once the team got inside the 10. If the "GruntCats" can play like that the rest of the way this team can make some noise.

The Wildcat-Wildcat was a nice wrinkle. The offensive game plan for the game was very creative, and I hope that doesn't go away once Foles is back. Mix it up, get the ball into Grigsby and Antolin and Scott's hands and keep the defense guessing.

Sticking both QBs back there a few times is a great idea. Scott's a good enough runner that you could pitch it to him and have him run it, or he could pull up and throw it. At the very least the D would have to account for him in the flat and it could free up another receiver.

Ha...I knew I wouldn't be able to hide from that photo. I need to learn to keep my mouth shut. :)

The offensive line has not had nearly enough credit for the Washington game. They played with real fire. Adam Grant had his DT on his back most of the night. Keola's long run went right through there. Colin Baxter captained a very determined bunch. I think they took blame upon themselves for Nick getting hurt. They didn't cause it, but it certainly seemed to motivate them to protect Matt and leave no doubt as to who owned the field.
Great job, GruntCats!

I was very impressed with Scott. This game had me in fits for most of the weekend. I really thought this was a game we could lose with Foles on the sideline. Scott proved me wrong. That kid can play.
Once Foles is back I would like to see the coaches use Scott. The Wildcat is a natural option (also, what did you think about the Grigsby direct-snap plays?). I think Foles has played better this season after sitting a series out as well. He seems to get a better handle on the D watching them on the sideline.
I wouldn't mind some trick plays being made up that get both QBs on the field at the same time either.
And congrats on your new fame: <a href="http://azstarnet.com/promo/homepage/collection_4dde4ed2-df24-11df-9706-001cc4c002e0.html?mode=image&photo=11" rel="nofollow">http://azstarnet.com/promo/homepage/collection_4dde4ed2-df24-11df-9706-001cc4c002e0.html?mode=image&photo=11</a>
