Knee Jerk: Nick Foles’ injury puts Arizona football season in jeopardy

The Arizona Wildcats got exactly what they wanted with a nice workmanlike win at Washington State.

Except for that whole Franchise-Quarterback-Lying-On-His-Back-Holding-His-Knee-In-The-Air thing.

This Week In The Pac-10, Week 7: Your TV guide to 10 hours of college football

The bad news is there are only three Pac-10 football games this week.

The good news is you can watch all three of them.

All three games are on national TV and the start times are staggered. Plop down on the couch at 12:30 and don’t peel yourself off it until it’s time for the nightly news.

Mistaken Identity: On Dick Tomey day Arizona Football returns to underdog roots

The Arizona Wildcats welcomed back an old friend Saturday night. Then they brought back an unwelcomed old identity.

Coach Dick Tomey was honored at Arizona Stadium in between the 1st and 2nd quarters. It was a well-deserved tribute to the man who led the Wildcats to their highest peaks.

It was also fitting that Tomey was present to witness the Cats’ rapid descent from the top 10.

This Week In The Pac-10, Week 6: Oregon State at Arizona plus the Pac-10 football TV schedule

Five Pac-10 games featuring all ten teams.

Saturday is one of only three instances this season when each Pac-10 school is playing a conference game on the same day.

The best team plays the worst team but other than that you have four games that could go either way. Two games feature four teams that already have to be concerned about their bowl chances. The other two games feature three teams trying to dig in and see if they can keep up with the machine from Eugene.

TWIT-Pac says: It’s time for the rivalries to get bitter again.
