Chris you couldnt be farhter from the truth. Yes Stoops has taken us to the best NON BSC bowl game in the Pac -10. But of you think about it, AZ finished 7th in the Pac. If USC is off sanctions, ASU has got the OK to play in a bowl game besides a WEAK schedule, Boise state doesnt lose to Nevada on a ZENDEJAS like choke and plays in a BCS game and forces stanford out of the Sugar bowl. AZ is playing in the Kraft Fight hunger bowl. Stoops is never going to become successful, he been here for 7 years and cant even obtain a winning record. While were sidelined watching coaches making less money and taking less time to reach top tier bowl games. MIKE LEACH IS A PROVEN WINNER. WE NEED TO GET HIM NOW TO STOP THE BLEEDING.

I realize he is no harbaugh, but in back to back seasons we have been to the best non bcs game the pac 10 has to offer. I like what he is doing. If he ever becomes super successful hes gonna leave then we are back to the drawing board anyways. Stoops is DEFENSE. If Dykes would have stayed we would have been better this season. We need a top notch OC we will see if this BYU guy is as good as everyone says he is. Besides for an O line we have everything neccessary to be awesome next year

I too think Stoops gave up. AD Byrne should figure out quickly how to replace a quitter. I don’t understand why a surrender monkey deserves yet another “one final stand.” Unless UA fan is conditioned to accept mediocrity. Stoops remains an embarrassment to the UA.
