It wasn’t easy but the Arizona Wildcats won a Pac-10 baseball series away from home for the first time this season.

Elsewhere in the Pac-10, Oregon State got some help from its friends to extend the Beaver lead in the conference race.

In the stat department, the top of the league batting chart is getting crowded with Cats.

This Week in the Pac-10, May 13: The Baseball Wildcats take their winning streak on the road

Last week the Arizona Wildcats picked up three easy non-conference wins at home. This week the UA baseball club hits the road, and hopes it can hit on the road.

At the top of the standings, I declared the title chase over after Oregon State no-hit UCLA but ASU isn’t letting go of its crown without a fight.

University of Arizona athletic director Greg Byrne and his basketball coach sat side by side to tell the public that all is well with the Wildcat basketball program.

Sean Miller looked and sounded like a man who was at peace with his decision and confident it would be the right decision for years to come.
