The Arizona Wildcats’ basketball season ended just in time for the baseball conference season to begin. It’s not the timing any of us wanted but here we are.

I have good news for you if you haven’t been following college baseball up to this point. Pac-12 hardball is the opposite of Pac-12 hoops this year. The league is really good and the UA is contributing to that goodness.

Mathew Troupe

The Arizona Wildcats baseball team (13-2) played five games over the past week and won them all. Three would qualify as easy victories but two were struggles.

It is in the struggles that the team may be finding the piece to fill its biggest hole.

The 2012 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament begins today and there isn’t a single lock for an NCAA at-large bid. We can’t guarantee the games will be dramatic but they will definitely be intense.
