Sarah Palin moving to Arizona….coyotes flee the state

by on May. 28, 2011, under baja arizona, politics

The Daily Star reports that Sarah Palin confirms she bought $1.7 million home in Arizona.

This was also reported in the New York Times.

Speculation is rampant that Palin is going to use Arizona as a base to run for the White House. The logic is it will be easier for her to run around the country from a base in Arizona than from Alaska.

There are lots of places in the lower 48 where Palin could operate from with better airline connections.

So why Arizona?

Looking at the fact she chose to buy a home in Scottsdale in the center of Arizona’s far right-ward shift, she will obviously be living among kindred spirits.

Just as obviously she did not choose to buy a home in Tucson or Baja Arizona.

Just when we thought we had enough negative national political attention from the antics of Joe Arpaio and Russell Pearce now we have Palin to deal with as an “Arizonan”.

Word is coyotes were seen fleeing the state in fear of being hunted by airplane.

    OMG Hugh,
Raul is out numbered. What kind of left wing idiot will the liberals come up with now?  Just when our economy was beginning to turnaround.

  • sodakhic

They had predator control in Alaska before Sarah got to the Governors seat. Are you implying that Arizona should give a break to coyotes so they can wipe out the sheep population? Typical liberal pap. Why don’t you flee the state, Hugh, your snark would play better back east.

No matter what it is one might like about Ms Palin, there is no way around the fact that she is not the brightest bulb on the Xmas tree.  A schemer, yes, but not bright.

“Brightest bulb on the Xmas tree” spoken like a true Charlie Manson look alike!!!

Not my picture.  If it was, it still wouldn’t change the fact that she is not the most well-informed or well-educated person around.   Are you gonna tell me you admire her for her mind?

What a hateful, biased article! Why should she want to move to Tucson or Baha, Arizona? We have nothing to offer or encourage such a move except a bunch of liberal, hate mongering, Spanish speaking illegal aliens and Hispanics who only whine and cry, march, protest and chain themselves to chairs because the tax payers no longer want to waste good money on “ethnic” classes.  Bravo, Sarah Palin!

We would love to have her in Arizona.  I would even work for her campaign.

Just when we thought we had enough negative national political attention from the antics of Joe Arpaio and Russell Pearce now we have Palin to deal with as an “Arizonan”…. Wow spoken like a true liberal…And we  wonder why this country is in dire straits….

      continued……..
I saw Linda Ronstadt in a interview saying that left Arizona because she was tired of it’s right wing rhetoric. It sounds like you people should follow suit.

Arizona is likely her choice for two reasons, her daughter bought a house here, she is going to find some local xenophobes who have been immigrating from all over the USA to Arizona to chase their mythical race war, she is a opportunist, loves to make the money, doubt she will win any major elections ever again, she no doubt left Alaska since they no longer are in love with her up there she quit on them, she is good at making speeches, selling ghost written books, and is a lightening rod for all the xenophobes in America, and of course them 22% national self avowed republicans love her, but alas it takes more than a GOP base to win any national elections, my guess is she is hoping maybe to try for the soon to be vacant US Senate seat!:-) As to coyotes fleeing, humor is good for the soul, and Sarah Palin is no major threat to democrats if she was she had her opportunity with McCain, she polarized folks on left, middle who tended to see her as a not to bright has been Alaskan who does well in speeches, but when faced with unscripted interviews her intelligence shows a lot to be desired!:-)

    Another MILF for Bret !

Theres not much thats more important than seniority to Alaska. Palin has limited her personal involvement in the Alaska race and Miller noted that he had received backing from other prominent Republicans including onetime presidential contender Mike Huckabee. I think this is highly inappropriate to publish this on a BBB – Tucson web site. I  for one am highly affended but then again I shouldn’t be surprised by the lack of class in this part of Arizona. Everyone on the left talks about civility and all the other buzz words but never to live them!
