Pac-10 transfer list grows to 13 as two more ASU players leave

by on Apr. 07, 2010, under Sports

ASU joined Washington State and UCLA this week with the most player defections this offseason, three each.

The Sun Devils, who had already lost freshman guard Demetrius Walker, have also released sophomore power forward David Rohde from his scholarship. Little-used freshman guard Brandon Thompson was also released from his scholarship.

The news of their transfer brings the total to 13 Pac-10 players who will not return to their respective programs next season. Most of the players, however, were for the most part inconsequential to their teams. The only starter was Drew Gordon of UCLA, but he left the program only six games into the season.
