Arizona's Class of 2011 power-forward signee Sidiki Johnson will finally play this season when Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy plays on ESPNU on Saturday (Sidiki Johnson photo)

The wait is finally over for Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy senior forward Sidiki Johnson, an Arizona Class of 2011 signee who has missed the Warriors’ first 16 games because of a hairline stress fracture in his left foot.

Oak Hill coach Steve Smith confirmed with me that Johnson is cleared to play Saturday when his team plays Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton High School on national television (ESPNU) as part of the HoopHall Classic at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.

The game starts at 5 p.m., Tucson time. Oak Hill is 16-0 and ranked No. 1 by ESPN Rise. Milton is ranked No. 2.

Smith sent a text message to me this morning that stated Johnson is “dressing out Saturday (and) might play a few minutes.”

Attempts to reach Johnson were unsuccessful. The 6-foot-9 power forward is rated a Four-Star prospect, 71st overall in the Class of 2011 by Rivals.com. He posted on his Facebook page that he is cleared to play but is “gonna take it easy coming back”.
