Why not just run out the clock? Under 3 mins to go and the Cats ar trying to pass it?!!! UW had 2 timeouts, even if the Cats had to punt it away, the Dawgs would have needed to drive down with no timeouts left.

Stoops was accountable on the situation and said it fell on him, its time the PAC 10 and refs were accountable about their actions. The 1st call was clearly a fumble, I find it hard to consider these REF’s professionals. Regardless, I would like to extend an invitation to all Cat Fans to please fill up the Stadium this Sat, we and the team need your help and support, the ZOO will be there, please come out and show the love. I know many of the guys on the team and the loss hurt them, they need some home cooking. Bear Down!!

The Cats got D'd up in the Red Zone. 4 Field Goals and a Turnover on Downs. If they could have turned 2 of those drives into TD's they would have put it our of reach. UW's Defense deserves some credit for those stops down there inside the 20.

Great analysis.

Letting UW WR Aguilar go wild like he did didn't help.

Does he normally do this?

Interestingly enough, Arizona takes care of business, and the home field, over the next three games and it's bowl eligible, I believe.

But I trust the 'Cats' ambitions and goals are bigger, much bigger, than that.

Anthony, when a player does something as dumb and costly and avoidable as what Vuna T. did, is there something special in the way of penance Coach Stoops makes him do in practice come Monday?

I would prefer Saturday night, late, or Sunday morning, early, at the latest, but Monday would would work too, I guess.

I few up for the game and took off with 3 minutes to go along with tens of thousands of Husky fans. I told my 8 year old daughter that the circumstances for UW to win were extreme.

What I did not like, and being very vocal around 100 Husky fans was not kicking a field goal at the end of the 2nd half. We were going to get the ball back starting the 3rd Quarter; cut the game to 1. But we went for it and failed. UW was CLEARLY doing very well with their goal line defense and no respect by Stoops. My opinion, coaching error and there were several.

Frustrating. Question is, can the team emotionally recover and take it out on the next three home games. Lots of football left.

Anthony - nail on the head article. Excellent analysis my friend. Soooo, when does basketball season start again? : )

Any mention from Stoops about the two huge plays the replay officials got wrong? The fumble by Polk in the first quarter would have made the game 10 or 14 to nothing and UW's first TD came on that drive. Then the fact that the replay officials barely looked at that TD when on one angle you could see the ball hit the turf seemed like there were UW boosters in the replay booth instead of Pac-10 officials.
