Wow.
That was wild. I'm trying to remember to the last time an Arizona football game had my adrenaline levels this high in the fourth quarter. Maybe Jenkins flip into the endzone with 2 seconds left at Washington in 1999. Hard to say.
I posted a short comment back at the end of the half but forgot to turn off my script blocking plugin for Firefox, so I lost the post. Turns out that Anthony Gimino covered my point.
I personally think that the production quality of Versus was top notch and UA should explore partnering with them more in the future. Yes, the broadcasters were constantly getting the Pac-Ten team names wrong, but camera placement and quality (High-Def) may have played a large part in getting that Stanford interception turned over at the end of the half. I can really trust quality like that in crucial review decisions. I thought the announcers were fairly unbiased and made a few comments that elicited chuckles (Arizona had everyone and a couple of cheerleaders on the line for that play;-). The only downside is that most drinking establishments have satellite and DirectTV recently dropped Versus.
Maybe the proposed Pac-Ten network can take a cue from Versus.
I really, really thought that the defensive momentum of the game changed when we got away from the four man rush and mixed it up. It harried Luck into bad passes.
My .02 cents.
Bear Down.
Good job Versus and Stoops.

that makes three of us, vegas, i was writing the 'Cats off in the 1st half. couldn't be happier to be wrong! unbelievable that as bad as the D was for most of the game, they did what they had to do (aided by some timely Stanford drops) when it counted...

feeling great about how efficient the offense was, tho. Foles was nearly flawless!

Almost 500 yards offense on each side. Yikes!! Poor scoring and overall defenses, both sides...
Nice to see our defense suck it up at the end, when it really mattered. The 3 or 4 dropped passes by Stanford receivers didn't hurt, either!!
Yea, Wildcats!!! Seh-weet!!!

AG- I also gave up the Cats for dead about the same time you did. This was one of the best UA games I've ever seen.
