The defensive team (coming Friday!) is actually more impressive, thanks to some stellar linebackers and defensive backs. The line, as you noted, has not been a strength for the greater part of this decade (same for the offensive line). And that explains a lot.

In answer to the poll question, and as much as I hate to say it, it's Tuitama. The fans and the media loved Mike Thomas but there's no Mike Thomas if there's no Willie T. And if quarterback is the THE most important offensive position, and Tuitama is THE best quarterback in terms of yards and completions, in UA history, than it has to be Tuitama. What this list shows more than anything, is that the offense was not the problem in UA being the worst Pac-10 team of the decade. It was the defense. Your defensive list should be interesting. I'm guessing the all-decade defensive line will be four blanks?
