I think Rob has first-round talent but won't be taken in the first round for a few reasons -- the back surgery, an overall deep draft (especially with defensive linemen) and a general lack of priority in taking a tight end in the first round.

But if he is able to have a full workout anytime before the draft, he'll be just fine; I'm predicting second round.

And, Eric, if I am reading your post correctly, the hiring of an agent doesn't mean anything. This isn't like basketball, where you can still withdraw your name from the draft after a long period of time. He had 72 hours after the Jan. 15 deadline to pull back his name.

I still don't know why he hired an agent... I think he is rolling the dice big time and I don't hear 1st round from alot of mock drafts. I'm a little selfish here and I always root for an alum, but I think he should have given in another year at U of A. The odds are long when your first year with the team will be at half speed and sitting on the bench. I really hope I see highlight film of him still carrying multiple tacklers downfield and small CB's bouncing off him like me running across an elementary school playground to a victory lap touchdown... I just don't know. Good luck Rob.

Wishing Gronkowski all the success in the world, but still sad he is not going to be back at the UA next year. Can you imagine how often we would hear then announce "Foles to Gronkowski" "Touchdown!"?
