I'm not refering to anything more than position play on the blocks - rebounding, defense and inside out play to setup the wings. (with scoring if they dont defend)Thats not much. The biggest problems Kyryl had last year were 1) he didnt understand what was happening at times and 2) he played a little out of control and 3) he was physically weak. I'm betting they understand the game better this year. And I believe this is the first year Tree has had the same coach he had the previous year.

We'll see. If they keep it simple, there is a chance they can actually play center.

Based on what we've seen thus far of Tree and K-Real at McKale and around the country and league as the 'Cats have put their big men up against other bigs, that's a BIG IF, Jim. Both Alex and Kyryl have shown flashes of potential. Can they now sustain it a whole year later, older and wiser? How about for a whole game? One can easily see - and be beside himself with joy - that having a true C or two means Williams, Horne, Hill, Parrom and Perry can play their more natural positions. And Coach Miller's no longer hand-cuffed. That would something to see.

Sounds encouraging. However it may be even better. Remember that Tree will be a factor as well. This may be the first year (for Miller) that the UofA will have a permanent presence in the blocks from actual 5's - Kyryl and Tree. That would change the complexion of the team entirely.
