His mom yanks him from his original school because she thinks they won’t let him get the stats he needs to make the McDonald’s game, and in the process she guarantees he won’t make it.

Then they decide to start at UA for the 2nd summer session so that he’ll be available for the U19 tryouts and team if he gets invited, he does, and then they cancel because he’s homesick?

Here’s a thought, if you had stayed at your original school you wouldn’t be homesick and you might have made the McDonalds game.

But of course now you’ve been “qualitized”.
