The glass is at least half full. The team seems to understand they are two plays away from 5-1, their confidence and hunger will see them through the next 6 games. Not one of those upcoming games is unwinnable (yes even USC). Matt Scott and Carey give the Cats a chance.

My half-empty glass is now half-full for one primary reason - RichRod. The team plays fast and hard. He's getting every ounce of talent out of every player and his second-half adjustments are the best I've ever seen at Arizona. Under Stoops, Mackovic and Tomey the team would come out of halftime and play the exact same way it had in the first half. Under RR, the offense figures out who's beating who and then exploits those weaknesses for yards, first downs and points. The second half scoring by this team has been extraordinary (81 first half points, 141 second half and OT points). And I wasn't sold on the 3-3-5, but I'm a believer now. With a few more bodies on defense I'm pretty sure we don't give up the leads against OSU and Stanford.
The only black spot is the Oregon shutout. The team got into a funk early and RR couldn't get them out of it. That was disappointing that he couldn't rally them to at least one score.
But on balance, I'm more encouraged about UA's football future, including the rest of this season, than I've ever been.
What a difference a coach makes.
