Some teams schedule themselves to 6 wins, others fight and claw and work their way to 6 — make that 7 — wins the old fashioned way. I’ll take the old fashioned way any day of the week. Feels better. Real. Good.
BTW, Tone, speaking of off-spring of famous ball players, is Trey Griffin, son of Ken Griffey Jr., still on the U of A squad?

I’m afraid I must admit also before the season began I thought this team would end the season with a 4 and 8 record, not because i am not a true fan or a band wagon type of fan, but because of all the reasons AG stated above, the defensive players left were thin at best, a new coaching staff arriving, and a schedule of games that was one of the tougher ones in the nation.

Congratulations to one tough minded team and coaching staff, everyone on that team and staff deserve credit for the type of football being displayed. It’s kinda nice being proven wrong every now and then.

Bear Down and DESTROY the Devils next week.
